To those who love Israel and the Jewish people, it is hard to comprehend that 2/3 of the Jewish people will be “cut off and die.” The tragedy is not that they will die, but that they will die without saving faith in Yeshua.
Daniel was given a revelation of God’s plan of redemption for Israel through Yeshua the Messiah. While we don’t know the exact timing of the 70th week, we do know God’s purpose – to “finish the transgression and made an end of sins” of the Jewish people and of the land of Israel.
There has not been a time in history when the Jewish people have not suffered. Sadly, their suffering was often at the hands of people who believed in Jesus, the Bible and the God of Israel
Praying through Jacob’s Trouble and the Day of the Lord can bring discouragement and sadness. Praising God, as we did yesterday, is the way to get our focus on His goodness and sovereignty. In Yeshua, there is always the hope of repentance and restitution.
The hardest prophecies are behind us and now we can look forward to God’s perfect ending of this time of judgement of the nations and the discipline of Israel. So let us join with the 144,000 Jewish men who will follow the Lamb wherever He goes singing His praises.
The world of the prophets was limited to the people and nations surrounding and impacting Israel. Of course these ancient nations have today morphed but God’s warnings still apply as well as to nations not mentioned.
God gives a warning of punishment to Iran, but in mercy promises a future blessing. Although they would never return to their own land, they would be counted in the great number of Gentiles redeemed by faith in Yeshua.
